Customer Relationship Management Contacts or Persons

A contact is a person.  If the contact isn't resolved to a person, like it is just a company or idea of someone to contact at a certain place, then it is only a lead, not a contact.

Profiles, personal data, contact history and other data is recorded in the contact management tool provided by PrimeAgile CMS. 

Management of the Person or Contact Record

Management of the person or contact record can be done by the CMS, or by the individual users themselves if they have a user account on the system.  To allow self registration, a registration page should be used based off of a registration template.

Not all contacts or persons listed in the CRM have user accounts within a PrimeAgile implementation.  However, if additional profile information for a user is recorded, it is recorded in the contact portion of the Customer Relationship Management tool, and can optionally be made available to users of that tool.

Address Records

Wach contact may have one or more address records, the address record specifies main address or type of address and notes can be added about each address.

Tags 

Tags can be used to flag a profile.  For example a contact may indicate in his or her profile that they have interests in fishing and swimming.  those two tag trees interests:fishing and interests:swimming could be tagged to their account.  Another exmaple might be Skills:plumbing or Skills:carpentry.

Contact methods

Each account can have one ore more contact methods includeing phone, email, fax, other

Contact History

The contact history can contain a history of time that the contact has been contacted, the logins to the system, access to records or other historical information.
